Access to the application sites are to be directly off Kelly Road which is to upgraded in line with the Local Area Plan. Kelly Road provides direct access to MR385 via a signal light interchange that will also be upgraded with the approved budget for the MR 385 upgrade. This in turns connects directly with the N3 national freeway at the nearly newly constructed, free flow interchange.

The Improvement of Kelly road extension will enhance local linkages between Mpumalanga and adjoining areas, including strengthening local connectivity, road linkages and access to public transport hubs, local community facilities, as well as employment opportunities. The access to the Park will be via a multi lane access controlled gate house with dual lane ingress and egress, designed for easy flow of traffic, a taxi drop off and pedestrian access control.
